artnivo is at Saatchi Gallery London on September with START 2017!

artnivo meets the art viewers in London at START Art Fair 2017 which is the fourth edition of the fair. artnivo continues its journey with young and emerging artists since its foundation, takes part in Saatchi Gallery which is one of the most important galleries in UK, between September 14 and 17 with artnivo artists Refik Anadol, Alper Aydın, Özlem Demirel and Onur Hastürk, for the first time. START, which brings young and emerging artists from diverse regions of the world together, aims to discover the art of tomorrow, from today. 


In the selection that derives from the boundaries of challenging earth, artists take part with their works enabling us to expand the field of the boundaries. New media artist Refik Anadol who is known for his works in the field of site-specific public art with parametric data sculpture approach and who explores geological realities at both physical and virtual levels, takes part in the fair with his new work titled ‘veri resmi[data painting]’ Alper Aydın who reflects and works on the Land Art, makes symbolic interventions by installing human-made objects having geometric forms, to the nature and uses photo documentation technique. Aydın exhibits the photos of ‘The Water City’ and ‘The Bridge’ from his recent works, at the fair. Özlem Demirel who carries on her works on light, color and perception and also investigates interactions among object, space and viewer, exhibits her photo documentations of the installations that bring artificial and natural materials together. Onur Hastürk who has started his art education with traditional arts and now interprets traditional arts in a contemporary manner, takes part at the fair with a new series composed of his works for which he uses the surface of Starbucks paper cups to paint Islamic miniatures on. is an online contemporary art platform aiming to bring works of contemporary art out of the gallery to make them accessible to a wider audience. Besides providing online access, it has been hosting the projects of the artists it works with, in temporary exhibition spaces and public spaces since 2014.
