Covid-19 and the individual and national precautions taken against this virus are now our daily life reality. While “being at home” has been associated with positive connotations such as rest, free space and comfort for everyone, the meaning evolves towards a “challenging process” with the increase in the time we spend at home. While visiting art galleries, museums, exhibitions or visiting an opening or a performance after work is part of many people’s daily lives, it is unfortunately not possible to physically visit these places at the moment. However, we believe that it is possible not to stay away from the art world, and therefore to cope with the boring side of staying at home, with many museums around the world recently offering opportunities such as virtual tours and online exhibitions. As Artnivo, we have compiled our favorites among thousands of museums and galleries that offer this opportunity:

1. Musée d’Orsay

The Orsay Museum in Paris mostly houses French artworks produced between 1848-1914. The museum holds the largest collections of famous impressionist and post-impressionists such as Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Seurat, Sisley, Gauguin and Van Gogh.

2. Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam

Founded in 2003FOR-SITE Foundation, is dedicated to the creation, understanding and exhibit of place-related art. Through exhibitions, commissions and educational programs; it sets out with the belief that art can inspire new thoughts and dialogue about the natural and cultural environment. 5. Pera Museum

Pera Museum, Pera Museum has been frequented by many art lovers since it opened its doors in June 2005. Google Arts & Culture gives us the chance to explore orientalist painting with the Portraits from the Empire exhibition, and to see many examples of graffiti from around the world and Turkey with,  the Language of the Walls exhibition.
